{ Home Decor } Just a little still-life off my shelf

Owl I got from Chrismas, nestled in by some books, and a Sweet Briar blank book from Anthropologie. The package of 3 is 12.95. I put them in Christmas stockings this past year. Such beautiful colors.

I think this owl is so adorable. There is a collection of three … a rabbit, owl, and racoon and the top deocrative part is actually the lid over the candle you remove to burn.
The scent for the owl is described as:
Owl (Balsam Cedar): fresh balsam and oak moss intertwined with aromatic cedarwood, cinnamon and eucalyptus
Which sounds right up my alley! They are a bit pricy for a candle alone, but I think that you could keep it as a Knick-Knack when all used up. Perhaps it will go on sale?

How many times have you perused the Anthropologie web site and didn’t buy that cute little something because you didn’t want to pay shipping? Well for the month of September on full-priced items, you don’t have that as a reason not to shop! Therefore, I picked up a cute little owl pencil holder for my desk. I love anything white ceramic …especially in my kitchen, but on my white and glass computer desk, I think he will be perfectly at home. This is a photo of the desk in our house prior to this.

The creative minds at Anthropologie are at it again with the summer window displays. As always using recycled or simple mediums in clever ways. The above is done apparently with tissue paper circles. Stunning.

I was so excited to see Anthro carrying this ceramic produce holder this year and even more excited to see that the small one is in an aqua blue. The white one is larger, and sells for $20, while the smaller blue one is $14.
How fun will it be to take these out to the garden and hand pick the blueberries, blackberries and raspberries in these? And they are equally functional allowing you to both rinse and serve the berries in them! I definitely will be making a run to Anthro this weekend to pick these up.

All photos Anthropologie – Vibrant Afternoon Hammock
I am absolutely in love with the blue version of this hammock from anthropologie. At only $98, I am wanting to plant two trees, just so I have somewhere to hang this hammock in our yard. Its so boho-retro looking.
And when you are done lounging for the day in the hammock …
You can just fold it away in its cute little sac! I am definitely putting this on my birthday wish list!

I am continually in awe of the stylists at Anthropologie. One of their latest emails has scarves displaced in ice cream cones. So clever!

{ Anthropologie Love } Let’s Get Lost 8 mm video

Video capture: Anthropologie
Did you see the fun 8-mm video movie on the front of anthropologie’s website. I thought that was a clever way to illustrate the new outfits for the month. I am a big fan of all the retro stuff… 8 mm, retro campers, and cool old towns that look like they are stuck in the 50s. And who can’t resist a road trip.
Ironically, I noticed in an email for Vera Bradley, that they also took a nostalgic approach to their advertising for the upcoming spring line with videos by one of their trend coordinators. Loving the old car she is driving!
{ Home Decor } Collage Cushion Bench

Collage Cushion Bench - Anthropologie.com.
If money allowed, I would love to design a whole room around this bench from anthropologie.
Recline atop all three cushions for an extra-cushy nap or take one off, place it on the floor and make it a lounge pillow when watching that latest foreign film release. However you use this multi-purpose piece, its hardwood legs mixed with our favorite upholstery patterns will make a stunning addition to any space.
LOVE IT!!
