The two above were from late April early May. The next two are as it looks this week….!
(Sorry for the less than spectacular phone camera images). We eventually had to build some string lines for the beans and peas and my husband brought me the plastic owl for fun. Its supposed to confuse/scary away the little critters that come to nibble. Our main critters have been ants and a very hungry caterpillar though and I don’t think they are frightened by Mr. Hoot.
The tomatoes have grown at an OBSCENE rate quickly outgrowing the space I gave them. I had to net in that area early because of bird beaks, but that hasn’t been a problem.
I am completely thrilled with how it turned out.
